Could you be part of the Lincolnshire County Council Family?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. Our Business Support teams are so much more than Admin, and more than ‘just a job’. We are supporting Lincolnshire by delivering positive changes for people every day.

This is an exciting time to be joining our Management Support Team – we are on a journey of transformation and need creative team players to join us.

We have a full-time, permanent position based in Lincoln, although the role does offer the flexibility of home working too.

The role

You will provide a Personal Assistant/Secretarial role as part of a Hub Team, assisting with the day to day requests that come in, providing administrative support to Senior Managers.

You will provide meeting support in line with our new way of working, help to manage diaries and phone calls for Senior Managers and with our Directorates covering a wide range of areas your job will include lots of variety too. You will provide business continuity within the team to ensure we are providing the best possible support.

What we're looking for

We need motivated individuals, with drive and determination and excellent communication. You'll also have a flexible, can-do positive attitude and a real desire to provide exceptional service whilst we transform this area of our Service. You should be confident supporting meetings, dealing with competing demands and experienced with all aspects of Microsoft Office. Previous experience as a PA/Secretary would be ideal.

This role currently offers the flexibility of home working and being on-site.

What's in it for you?

We are supportive of our employees and we genuinely care for and treat people as individuals. We aim to create a happy working environment in which you can flourish, reach your potential and provide the very best in customer service.

Alongside this we offer:

  • A chance to develop existing skills and learn new ones;
  • The opportunity to undertake further qualifications in Customer Service or Business Administration;
  • An excellent pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement;
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including excellent discount schemes and civil service sports council membership; and
  • Lots of scope for future career progression
