Policy and Research Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Policy and Research Team. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to making a difference to the Borough. This will include working with a range of Council services to develop strategies and policies which respond to opportunities and challenges facing Knowsley’s residents and communities. It will also include supporting senior officers and Elected Members in the Council’s work with local strategic partner organisations and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
Candidates will have outstanding research and analysis skills, with experience in working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop robust and evidenced-based policies, strategies and delivery plans.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with strong report-writing skills and proven experience in providing advice and recommendations on complex topics to a range of audiences.
This is a high profile, fast paced and challenging role which will involve close working with senior decision-makers, Elected Members and strategic partners. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of working with a wide range of stakeholder groups to develop strategy and be able to build and maintain strong relationships across organisations and sectors.
