Job Title: Children Safeguarding Lawyer
Contract: Fixed Term - up to 2 Years
Salary: PO2-MM2 Grade - £41,793 - £64,346
We are looking for a number of Lawyers/Senior Lawyers to join our Children’s Safeguarding team. Specialising in care proceedings, we are looking for individuals who are real team players who are self-motivated and flexible. You will be used to carrying a heavy caseload and working to tight timescales. We are looking for people with good experience in this area but we would expect those looking to be appointed at the Senior Lawyer level to have more in-depth knowledge of this area and greater breadth of experience. The appointment will be made at the level which reflects the successful candidate’s skills and experience. The Senior Lawyer grade includes management or supervisory responsibility for one or more people although management experience is not essential.

All roles are open to Solicitors, Barristers, Fellows of CILEX, or equivalent. The grade at which you will be appointed is dependent on PQE. If appointed at MM1 or MM2 you will be required to coach and mentor other Junior officers in the team.
