We need someone with experience of working in an office environment to provide and maintain a high quality service to customers seeking access to housing services.
You will be responsible for receiving and processing enquiries from members of the public as well as administering departmental and Council-wide systems. This role also carries out specialist functions such as the maintenance of records in respect of housing, including the inputting of data into the Orchard Housing Management System. This post is also the frontline service for the the Housing Service’s repairs desk.
You should be educated to GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or be able to prove an equivalent level of literacy and numeracy through work experience. Good ICT skills and strong attention to detail are essential. Experience of working in building repairs and maintenance environment would be advantageous.
