Teaching Assistant 2 or 3 and MDSA Position
Punnetts Town Community Primary School is a friendly, hardworking and supportive school with fantastic staff. We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for a new or experienced Teaching Assistant 2 or 3 (who would also have MDSA hours) to join our team on an exciting journey starting in February 2023.
Punnetts Town Community Primary School is a small, friendly, village school. We are privileged to work alongside Little Punnetts Pre–school who share our site, which allows us to offer education from 2 – 11 years. We believe that childhood is a precious time, and this underpins our aim to nurture our children's creativity, encourage their social development and create a love of learning within a culture of high expectations. We have 103 pupils on roll.
The position is a fixed term contract until the end of July 2023, with potential to extend further. The position comprises of 22 ½ hours TA2 or 3 and 5 hours MDSA per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. Hours can be negotiable.
The salary will be pro-rata from SS Grade 3 point 7 for the TA role and SS Grade 1 point 2 for the MDSA role.
The successful candidate will ideally have a TA qualification or equivalent, experience working as a TA in a school or in a childcare setting and GCSE English and Maths.
