North Somerset Council has an ambitious and wide-ranging programme of urban regeneration and transport improvement schemes from traffic calming; to multi-million-pound new roads, and from EV chargers to developing “mini-Holland” schemes to make our streets more friendly. The council’s highway design teams seek Technical Support Officers to support Engineers and enable the delivery of these projects and the delivery of the road safety function.

The successful post holder will work with other team members to design and implement highway improvement schemes.
