We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Waste and Recycling Team located within the Place Directorate. The Place Directorate ensures the Council’s vision for Waltham Forest to become a safer, cleaner and healthier borough is being delivered.
The Waste and Recycling Officer will support the progression and delivery of recycling and waste prevention initiatives in line with the implementation of the new Recycling Strategy. Project management of these initiatives will be a key feature of the role as you look to maximise the increase the recycling opportunities within the borough.
We are a busy team looking for someone to join us who is enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable about waste and recycling. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to problem solve and communicate to a range of people. We are seeking an individual who is comfortable working independently outside of an office environment as the role will involve on site monitoring as well as office work.
