Job Title: Business Support Services Executive
Starting Salary: £23,620 with the opportunity to progress to a maximum of £26,845 per annum
Hours: 37 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Herts LEP team as our Business Support Services Executive for one year to cover a maternity leave period. The role is based in our offices in Letchworth Garden City and will start end of February/ beginning of March.

Your role will be to support the Business Support Services team in the development of systems and processes to support the effective delivery of the LEP Funded Programmes and to provide administrative and client support to the Executive Team, Board Members, Project Delivery Partners and Stakeholders.
The role is two-fold. To support the LEP Office Manager to provide administrative support for the Executive Team and Board Members including invoice processing, organising and attending internal and external meetings (including minute taking), booking travel and assisting with the day to day running of the LEP office.
You will also work with the Business Support Services Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of LEP funded programmes including the Herts Growth Hub, Get Enterprising and Visit Herts Destination Management Service by ensuring all funding requirements are maintained and monitored, liaise with finance on claims, assisting with the delivery of workshops and events and maintaining the CRM system.
We are looking for someone with experience of
- Working in a customer service / customer facing role previously, preferably working with SMEs
- Project working, ideally in a similar role for example experience of working on ERDF / ESF funded or other government funded contracts
- Working in a busy office environment responding to multiple demands at a time
- Financial and general monitoring and management systems related to funding programmes
- Working with databases and maintaining accurate customer information on a CRM system
- Business support landscape
- Working in business support organisation
