We are excited to be launching an organisational programme to change our Finance, HR and Programme systems putting our users at the heart of the delivery. The programme fully launches in November 2022 and will deliver the programme in phases between March 2024- August 2024.
About the role:
With Barnet’s current Integra system contract coming to an end, we have an opportunity to overhaul our key back-office functions re-wiring our business processes, enhancing the user experience, and providing better access to data.
In order to deliver this ambitious programme for the Council, we are looking to onboard an experienced Oracle Account Payable Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a proven track record of leading Account Payable team in the past. By nature, the post holder will become the lead on Accounts Payable, being fully conversant with all aspects of AP and providing training and assistance to council employees as required. The post holder will be working in the Procure to Pay (P2P) work stream and will be the SME leading the AP Design and implementation. The post holder will support the P2P Project manager and other SME’s to achieve a successful delivery of the Oracle Solution.
Experience in a similar role with previous in depth experience of using Oracle system
Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge
Good understanding of the AP function
Able to lead, inspire and motivate employees and generate a positive working environment
Ability to think critically, apply innovative and creative thinking to address complex service challenges
Committed to corporate and collegiate working across the service
Well-developed IT skills (MS Office suite, financial systems, data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau))
