As a Transformation Lead in our Growth, Planning and Housing (GPH) directorate, you can make your own powerful contribution to people across Westminster. With a focus on identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, you’ll coordinate change projects and programmes, working to embed a culture of continuous improvement across GPH. Liaising closely with a wide range of stakeholders, colleagues, and external agencies, you’ll develop and lead clear engagement plans for your key programmes and projects.
This role will encourage you to challenge the way services are traditionally delivered. You’ll introduce initiatives that will transform the way the Council acts for the better, ensuring continuity across the overarching change programmes and priorities.
Acting in a programme management capacity to provide additional support to GPH’s strategic priorities, you will undertake research, draft reports and take an evidence-based approach to ensure you’re delivering value for money. Using a people-first approach, you will deliver your projects and programmes through matrix-managing teams from across GPH’s services. Above all, you’ll support GPH senior leadership to transform the way we deliver projects and programmes for the benefit of colleagues, residents and Westminster.

As an established professional with demonstratable experience of successfully leading change or service improvement, you’ll be capable of managing complex cross-functional projects and programmes. A true team leader and a natural communicator, you’ll have proven stakeholder management skills, and the ability to form and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels of the council and beyond.
On a personal level, you’ll have strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to keep calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
