Grade C: £21,189 - £21,968 pro-rata

Monday – Thursday (inc) 11am – 3pm
Friday – 11am – 2pm

We are looking to add to our existing Customer Service team who provide the first point of contact for our many customers who choose to contact us by telephone or in person. We are therefore looking for an excellent communicator who enjoys problem solving and liaising with people providing a first class level of service.
You will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated, able to work alone and within a team using own initiative and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to provide support to both customers and colleagues. Previous experience in a Customer Service environment is essential along with Contact Centre and telephony experience.
The Authority has a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) enabling our Reception and Contact Centre team to record and answer queries handled by the authority electronically. The CRM system and Customer Service role will develop with the team during future years providing a challenging and exciting role for you.
You should have GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English or able to demonstrate equivalent vocational experience. You should also be IT literate in Microsoft office packages such as Word, Outlook and use of the internet.
