About the role

This is a full time position, with shared weekend working on a variable rota.

We are recruiting to the post of Ticketing and Operations Officer. The Ticketing and Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient, effective and professional Box Office services in Hillingdon Theatres; and to support the manager and team in the delivery of services to hirers and audiences. Reporting to the Theatres Manager, the postholder also recruits and maintains communication with a team of volunteers, ensures income is collected and accurately recorded, and shares responsibility for good health and safety practices at venues including the Compass and Winston Churchill Theatres. The postholder will support the manager in exploring improvements to the customer experience and contributing to more effective ways of working. The postholder will work with partners and hirers to celebrate and promote arts and culture in the borough.

About you

You are organised and efficient with good attention to detail. You have experience of working in and supporting a frontline service, with excellent customer care skills and an ability to communicate well in a variety of formats, with a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues.

You have an interest in the arts and in supporting arts and culture locally. You are flexible in both your time and your thinking, able to problem solve and collaborate effectively. You take responsibility for learning what is required to perform to a high standard and seek ways to develop your skills. You are able to build good working relationships, recruiting to and retaining the pool of theatre volunteers. You carry out your work with integrity and transparency, and have high standards of customer care and professional conduct.
