Broxbourne Borough Council is seeking applications from committed, enthusiastic

individuals who wish to pursue a career in local government. The role is based in the Chief Executive’s department at the centre of the Council’s organisation where there are a wide range of activities and projects to get involved in and gain valuable experience.

  

As well as undertaking activities associated with a busy office, duties will include servicing committees, preparing reports and supporting elected members of the Council.

 

The post offers exceptional prospects for a future career in local government.

 

Applications are welcome from candidates who have completed a degree in a relevant discipline. They must have well-developed written, verbal communication and ICT skills and be able to work under pressure

 

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.
