This is a key role supporting the production of effective policies and strategies across the organisation in order improve outcomes for both residents and Council staff. In this role you will be researching and analysing on a range of evidence bases. You’ll be working with senior leaders in the council, along with various other stakeholders both in the organisation and in the wider community that we serve. You’ll be supporting the regular evaluation and delivery of key corporate strategies and preparing materials and briefings for the Council’s executive leadership and elected members
You’ll be working with a variety of different multidisciplinary teams and domain areas to drive and support the cross-cutting council-wide outcomes approach. You’ll be Leading on strategic and proactive engagement, both internal and external, relating to work with high levels of complexity or risk to support the ongoing delivery of the Council’s work.
You should be passionate about delivering real change to our residents. You should be driven to solve the problems faced by the organisation and our residents. You should have exceptional communication skills with the ability to write for a number of different audiences and feel confident liaising with and engaging stakeholders across and outside the organisation to ensure they stay involved and included.
You should have experience of designing and facilitating workshops with a diverse range of participants, creating safe and constructive environments. You should have a good understanding of inclusivity and the Camden 2025 plan. You should be able to write clearly and succinctly for a number of different audiences, especially strong communication and report-writing skills.
You should have the ability to effectively understand, analyse, and summarise a wide evidence base, including both quantitative and qualitative data, to support the solving of challenging problems. You should work flexibly and proactively as part of the team.
