Deputy Headteacher with SEND responsibility
We are seeking to appoint a full time; permanent Deputy Head Teacher with responsibility for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SENDCo). Salary range Leadership Scale L5 to L9
At Market Deeping Community Primary School will believe in offering our pupils a rich and exciting educational experience.
The role is non-class based and incorporates oversight of SEND provision in the school as well as the expectation to ensure good provision in all areas of learning and development for all of our pupils. The previous Deputy Headteacher has successfully moved on to a Headteacher role and the current SENDCo is retiring in the summer.
We see this new collaboration of the roles as an exciting opportunity for someone to establish wide ranging leadership experience in preparation for their own future development and progression.
We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to help continue to develop and enhance the education of the pupils in our school. They will be ready to work closely with our staff and families as well as outside agencies to seek advice and help ensure our pupils get the very best start in life.
