Medway Council’s Adult Social Care division are seeing a Head of Improvement for six months. Using your experience as a senior manager, reporting to the Assistant Director, Adult Social Care, you will play a key role in delivering a range of projects that are part of the division’s transformation and improvement programme. The role will be both interesting and challenging because you will be required to work at pace, ensuring the work you do improves the delivery of our service, thereby providing better outcomes for our residents and supports recruitment and retention across the division. You must have a strong experience of leading and supporting teams to initiate and implement organisational change, experience of managing and maintaining effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders and be a proactive professional who has responsive approach to work and a team player.
This opportunity is currently being offered on a fixed term contract basis until 30 June 2023; however, if budgets allow the contract length may be extended and/or become permanent, though this is not guaranteed.
