We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team of Teaching Assistants.
You will be working with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to children and staff under the direction of the teacher.
You will either work with individuals or small groups, supporting children to understand instructions and independent learning, helping to provide inclusion for all children, including children with Special Educational Needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a good standard of education;
- Have excellent knowledge of positive behaviour strategies;
- Be able to work within a team;
- Have understanding of the issues surrounding the safeguarding of children and commitment to child welfare and safety;
- Enjoy working in a school where the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

The hours are 8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday (term time only) with 30 min lunch break (unpaid) The salary will be pro rata to reflect that this position is 30 hours per week & term time only.
