This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sensory Services team with our vision to promote and support independence for those with sight loss and/or hearing loss. This dynamic, large team works county wide and whilst the primary job role focus is on Visual impairment, you will work with people with all sensory needs.

The Rehabilitation worker will work with persons with visual impairment in order to enable them to remain independent. You will carry out holistic assessments and implement plans. You will carry out practical tasks such as independent living skills and mobility and issue equipment to support independence.

Holding a professional qualification in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment), you will be enthusiastic, proactive individual who can build professional trusting relationships with service users, their carers and other organisations.  You will be confident in working closely with service users within the Sensory Services team and autonomously managing a diverse case load.
