Join our award-winning visitor experience team, accredited by VisitEngland October 2022 and be a part of the "Wow!" or "What a fantastic day out!" feeling that is the linchpin of Lincolnshire County Council’s Heritage sites? We are seeking a Visitor Experience Officer to become part of our great team working in Lincolnshire County Council's Cultural Service based at Lincoln Castle.

About the role 

Our impressive sites include Lincoln Castle, The Collection Museum, Usher Art Gallery, Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight visitor centre and Lincolnshire Archives. 

Primarily based at Lincoln Castle, you will be working within our team to cover all aspects of site operation from retail and cleaning the buildings to sharing the Castle’s amazing history with our visitors.

These are truly unique places to work but this will be a demanding role and you will need to be confident and eager to make sure that every single person who visits the site has an unforgettable experience and will want to come back and visit us time and time again.

Visitor Experience Officers will be required to work Saturdays, Sundays along with Bank Holidays and occasional evenings and early mornings. Applicants should note that a uniform is in place for all frontline staff, and the indicated salary is pro rata. Job-shares will also be considered for the right candidate.

About you

We love to hear the amazing reactions we get from visitors to our Heritage sites, and we are looking for people who want to help us deliver a brilliant day out to our visitors.

You will need to have excellent customer service skills and a strong enthusiasm for Lincolnshire's rich heritage.
