Liverpool City Council are looking to fill the new role of Human Resources Business Partner within our People and Talent Division. This post is fixed term for 15 months to cover maternity leave within the team, ideally we would like the successful applicant to have a handover period.
You, the successful applicant will work with a Directorate to deliver people related strategic goals including those relating to organisational design, performance and succession planning, attendance and wellbeing and reducing inequalities. The role holder is also responsible for providing advice and guidance on a full range of organisational matters including transformation, employment law, policy implementation, disciplinary and grievance handling, trade union negotiations and dispute resolution.
The role of a Business Partner has a keen understanding of the Council’s strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analysis, and organisational agility to guide decision making.

The role is hybrid and diary management will require the successful applicant to have flexibility to have 3 days office based (within the Liverpool City region) and two days from home. During the training period there will be a requirement to have a greater presence in the office.
