Medway Council is looking for an experienced and creative marketing professional to join their busy communications team.

This role would suit someone with a strong marketing background as you will lead on communications across our culture and communities portfolio. You will develop and deliver strategic and creative campaigns to help the directorate meet its objectives. You will also manage the Communications Account Executive and oversee their work.

This is a really exciting role where creativity is key. The right candidate will have responsibility for many marketing campaigns from conception right through to execution and evaluation. You will lead on digital communications channels, supporting the development of a digital-first approach and work with rest of the communications team to improve existing social media channels.

Working as part of a larger team, you will make sure brand values and tone of voice is followed across the organisation, remain up-to-date in digital communications, help to ensure that service performance targets are met and uphold social media standards.
