As the Senior Performance Manager, you will help co-ordinate the Council’s business planning and performance management activities. You will also oversee performance and service improvement support for our Communities, Economy and Transport and Governance Services departments. In this role you will get to work with managers and senior leaders from across the Council and other organisations.

You will also play a key role in our Community of Practice for data and policy professionals. Through this you will have opportunities to help shape the way we do things and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are experienced in managing a diverse team

• Understand best practice in performance management

• Are good at building relationships

• Are able to explain complex information to a variety of audiences

• Can create and communicate a vision for change.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
