Knowsley Children’s Social Care is seeking to recruit an experienced Supervising Social Worker to work in the Fostering Service full time . The Fostering Service currently has 2 teams one specialising in the recruitment and support of mainstream foster carers and the other undertakes fostering and SGO assessments in a timely manner, develop clear and focused plans and complete the role of the supervising social worker within the mainstream team.

The successful applicant will need to be qualified and professionally registered as a social worker, have knowledge of current legislation and regulations, have demonstrated their experience and abilities in respect of working in partnership with children, young people, families and partner agencies.
