This role has a starting salary of £32,173 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
This opportunity is a 10 month Fixed Term Contract, until November 2023, based in either Woking or Reigate.
We are excited to be looking for a full time Business Team Leader to work in this varied and interesting role within the Children, Families & Learning Business Support Team based in our Woking or Reigate office. Applicants will need to be prepared to travel within Surrey County supporting staff and projects.

Children, Families and Learning provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups.
About The Role
Within this role you will work closely with the Fostering and Children with Disability services to provide high quality and timely support to practitioners, building on any knowledge of social care and fostering processes and working practice that you may already have.
You will manage and develop a team of administrators to deliver a high quality and efficient administration service to assist in delivering the overall aim of the service to improve outcomes for children. Your duties will include co-ordinating support to the Assistant Directors as required.
You will lead the way in assessing and implementing process improvements constantly and consistently to improve the performance of the administration service and increase customer satisfaction
For this varied role we are looking for someone who;
- Has experience of leading, co-ordinating and developing a busy team. You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility and use initiative; be comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Has high level administrative and analytical skills
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build key relationships
- Is confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to your work
- Has excellent IT skills and is proficient in using Microsoft Office
