SEND Service Manager (Education)

London Borough of Waltham Forest are looking for a SEND Service Manager (Education) for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract Salary Scale PO 8, to lead, plan, develop and deliver an expert professional service within the relevant service area.

The post holder will oversee the SEND teams, SEND Tribunals together with other SEN Education departments and provide strategic leadership for the SEND Service.

The post holder will:

support the development of the service,

be responsible fpr management and delivery of Council services,

Manage staff responsible for service delivery / support within the service area.

To ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in relation to cost.

develop service plans to meet strategic business goals.

Manage budgets.

Post holder will be reporting to Assistant Director.
