Senior Children's Centre Worker

Starting salary: JG4:- £22,369 per annum pro rata
Location: Based in Clevedon
Hours: 17 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term for one year

North Somerset Council wish to employ a Senior Children`s Centre Worker to work across Children’s Centres and developing Family Hubs that are based in North Somerset.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support children’s learning and development in groups offered by the service. The work is varied, interesting and includes planning and delivering crèches, stay and plays, working alongside parents, providing information, advise and guidance as well as overseeing equipment and resources.
We are looking for a new member to join the team who can adapt to working in different settings, with different groups of people and can work as part of a team. A level 3 childcare qualification and childcare experience is essential. Children`s centres are a service within the Family Wellbeing Team, providing early help to children and young people, aged 0-19 (25 for young people with SEND).
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
