Lawyer (Commercial Property and Regeneration)

Salary: G11: £59,622 to £61,691 per annum - (pro rata for part time) plus market supplement of £7,000 - £14,000 DOE fixed for 2 Years
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property and Regeneration Lawyer to join our well respected in house Legal Team to lead and deliver on all legal aspects of commercial property and regeneration in connection with the Council’s Services.
The Law & Governance service is responsible for the democratic and political management arrangements of the Authority including the conduct of elections, corporate and Ombudsmen complaints and the provision of a full and varied range of legal services.
As the successful candidate you will be an expert in your field with the ability to handle complex commercial property and regeneration work and to give clear and credible advice to senior officers and elected members. As well as having technical ability you will be professional, approachable, confident and an innovative thinker that can influence and drive progress to the conclusion of the project.
You will also be a proactive team player, with a flexible approach and a willingness to get involved in all areas of the Service’s work and want to play a prominent role in helping the Service to develop and improve.
