North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking an experienced practitioner to boost its current anti-social behaviour provision. We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual who is both confident and competent to carry out this function. The individual will have responsibility for a defined geographical area within North East Lincolnshire with certain performance thematic responsibilities. He/she will be expected to control all multi-agency activities linked to anti-social behaviour within their geographical area and assist other coordinators with the more complex and demanding issues.
The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of anti-social behaviour tools, powers and legislation and be fully confident in working in a multi-agency setting. He/she will possess a proven investigative background and be able to prepare detailed court papers to a high standard with personal court appearances being required on occasions.
The successful candidate needs to be creative in their outlook and coordinate activities to solve repeat areas of problematic anti-social behaviour.
The successful individual will have a statutory responsibility for victim care linked to the cases they are coordinating. He/she must have the ability to chair multi-agency meetings confidently agreeing actions and tasks with the partner agencies attending. On occasions the individual will be required to prepare court files and attend court where required. A reasonable level of IT skills is expected.
Funding has been agreed for an initial 2 year period and attracts a salary of £30,756pa. The contracted hours is 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday. Weekend working is not normally expected but may be required on the odd occasion.
