Customer Services Advisors
Part time roles available: 2 x 17.5 hours per week
Salary up to £20,667 pa pro rata (up to £10.71 per hour)
Ashford Borough Council has an excellent track record for providing Customer Services throughout the borough via telephone, face to face, email, web and self service options.
We are looking to recruit talented, enthusiastic and flexible Customer Service Advisors to join the team; you will be first point of contact for all inbound calls.
It is essential that you have experience of working within an inbound telephony environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills along with strong attention to detail. Successful applicants will be trained to provide resolution at first point of contact for most general Council and partner service enquiries. The post holder is required to be multi-skilled, able to demonstrate flexibility and willingness and provide face-to-face services within the Civic Centre.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, have the ability to make decisions and keep calm whilst under pressure. With a sound educational background, ideally you will have an NVQ 2 or 3 in Customer Service or Business Administration and be confident with Microsoft Windows applications.
