Resource Provision Grade 5 Teaching Assistant SEN (January 2023)

Full Time Maternity Cover up to October 2023

The Learning for Life Partnership along with the Principal at Shavington Primary wish to appoint a motivated, committed and highly effective teaching assistant to join our hard working and enthusiastic Resource Provision team. We are looking for someone who is committed to the vision and values of the school, has a child-centred approach, is reliable and resilient and has energy and enthusiasm. They will also be keen to learn and come into school with fresh and new ideas to add to such a busy and lively environment. The candidate should have the ability to put their initiative and experience to good use.

The candidate will have a track record of excellent practice in the classroom and experience of working with SEND children with Autism. The successful candidate will also be expected to take responsibility for learning activities during the school day for individuals and small groups.

They are expected to be well organised and flexible with high expectations of attainment, achievement and behaviour and have a drive to make a difference to the education of all pupils. They will have excellent communication skills and evidence of continued professional development.


The role is for 32 hours at Grade 5. The working days are Monday to Friday with half an hour for lunch.
