An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team as we open a Pre School Nursery at Cradle Hill Community Primary School.

As a qualified Pre School Nursery Assistant you will be required to work effectively as part of our nursery team, providing a stimulating and caring environment for pre-school aged children. You will support all team members, ensuring a high level of care and education is provided.

The successful candidate will:

- Hold a NVQ 2/3 in Childcare and Education or relevant equivalent qualification

- Have experience working with pre-school age children and be able to implement and carry out engaging activities with the children

- Be an excellent team player, with experience of working as part of a team as well as on your own with initiative

- Be able to observe, monitor and record children's development.

- Have strong communication skills

- Be an excellent role model for other members of your team and the children

- Have a keen focus on health and safety, ensuring all safety and hygiene requirements are met.

It is desirable for the candidate to be qualified in Paediatrics First Aid, but this is not essential.

This is an exciting time to join our fantastic team as we open a Pre School Nursery for 2-4-year old's. We will be able to provide ongoing training and wider experience, a new and well-resourced pre-school nursery facility and direct involvement in this new phase of our community school.
