The Hastings Academy - Librarian and Reading Mentor

Are you passionate and committed to supporting children with their learning and personal development? 
Do you have a love of literature?
We are looking to recruit a Librarian and Reading Mentor to join our dedicated team at The Hastings Academy.
This is an extremely varied role and includes: the daily supervision of library users, planning resources within the library to support the academy curriculum and utilising your creativity to develop a variety of forums and events to promote a love of reading and literature. 
You will also be working collaboratively with the English Department to assist the students' literacy progress; supporting students to improve their reading skills and develop confidence in selecting appropriate and enjoyable books.
