Fareham Borough Council is committed to providing excellent customer service and we are currently seeking a confident and professional individual to work within our Customer Service Centre.
As the first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the Council, you will be required to handle a wide range of enquiries and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient ICT skills.
The role will require you to work in our cash office, processing payments and producing permits. Numerical ability, cash handling experience and attention to detail are therefore important. You will also be required to sort and distribute incoming post and collate and prepare outgoing mail, which will involve some manual handling.
