Complex Case Worker (Externally Funded Post) (ADC579)
£23,866 - £26,470 pa, plus casual car user payments where necessary
Temporary for 12-18 months (pay negotiable within the above scale)
An opportunity has arisen for a Complex Case Worker to work within the Community Safety Integrated Services Hub. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping people with complex needs, which we know can be extremely challenging but ultimately rewarding. Whatever your background whether it be health, social care, police, fire, housing, probation or elsewhere we want to hear from you.
As a Complex Case Worker…
You will ensure the effective case management of a caseload involving highly complex and entrenched individuals that present with multiple support needs. These individuals are unlikely to be able to use normal channels to access standardised services, and are likely to benefit from a single point of contact.
Dealing with a wide range of issues, the successful candidates will:
- Work intensively with residents that present with multiple connected and dependent challenges.
- Have a track record of devising robust support plans and securing positive outcomes for service users.
- Have a strong working history of working holistically with high-risk service users and residents in crisis.
- Have experience of working within problematic neighborhoods and assisting them to become sustainable.
- Have the ability to work in partnership with service providers that prevents silo working and unintended consequences for our residents.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and innovative individual with a high level of emotional intelligence. This role offers the opportunity to fundamentally change lives and explore the real needs of our residents in a non-prescriptive, non-judgmental way.
Adding benefit to our inter-disciplinary model, we also welcome applicants and secondments from individuals working within a partner organisation who have professional experience in areas relating to adult social care, substance misuse, mental health, offending behaviour and homelessness outreach. Please seek permission from your line manager prior to application for a secondment approval.
For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Antonio Taylor (Complex Case and Vulnerability Team Leader) on Tel: 07778 518978 or Email email@example.com
