About the role
We are looking for talented Graduates or qualified Accounting Technicians, with drive and ambition, seeking the opportunity to start their career in local government and wider public sector finance. The roles are available in the Finance Team or Pension Team and will provide the opportunity, through study and on the job learning, for the apprentice to become a fully qualified as a Chartered Public Finance (CIPFA) Accountant.
An Apprenticeship with full study support with CIPFA T
We are looking for candidates who wish to join a fantastic friendly department and to start their career in Local Government Finance.
We request that you submit a CV with a covering letter which will sets out why you wish to become a CIPFA Accountant and have a career in local government.
Interviews have been scheduled for 6th and 10th January 2023.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a short exercise, which will be set via e- mail before Christmas.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
