About the role
A 12-month fixed term post has become available for a Senior Business Administrator with line management responsibilities within the countywide ASC Learning Disability Assessment & Care Management Teams and Transition Service.
You will be required to be a self-starter, providing Line Management Support to several administration staff based across our three sites in the county and assist the Office Manager in ensuring the smooth running of administrative support to all ASC Learning Disability Operational staff countywide. You will also be involved with monitoring performance, finance, health and safety, data collection, and ICT issues across the service. You will also visit the different site locations Eastbourne, Hastings and Uckfield to support the Office Manager in supervising the team.
Working in an ever changing and sometimes pressured environment, you will be required to multi-task and work to strict deadlines. You will be directly involved in Safeguarding and Duty administration, particularly taking accurate and timely minutes of complex meetings, as well as supporting in all aspects of general administration.
You’ll be a great communicator with strong MS Office skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service. This role expectation is for you to provide strong leadership in multiple key projects during pressured time of change, ensuring you keep up to date with the needs of operational services and provide communications to key stakeholders, partners and providers.
You will be required to work independently or on your own initiative and as part of a team with varied support needs. Ongoing training and coaching is available and can contribute to ongoing CPD goals.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
