As part of this we are seeking to recruit a new manager to lead the team. This is an opportunity to lead and drive behavioural and culture change to ensure excellence in health, safety and welfare of employees and provide assurance on health and safety standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring the Council’s Emergency Plan and Business Continuity Plan are fit for purpose. You will also be working and influencing managers across the Council to ensure that Health and Safety matters are at the forefront of service related decisions and activities.
If you have relative experience and passion for health and safety and have an ability to influence, champion and challenge behaviours to promote excellence in health, safety and welfare at work then this is the next job for you.
