HOUSING ASSESSMENT OFFICER 

Scale 4 £24,948 – £28,371 per annum 

37 hours per week 

12 Month Fixed Term Contract  

Blaby District Council’s Housing Team is a busy, high performing Housing Advice service.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping people resolve their housing problems to join our friendly team and help us to continue delivering a first-class service to our customers.

Ideally you will have a general understanding of our choice-based lettings scheme, knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act and the private rented sector housing legislation, as well as an awareness of the Councils Housing Allocations Policy – however, full training and support will be provided.

Where are we based?

The Main Council Offices are in Narborough in Leicestershire, which is just 3 miles from the M1, junction 21 and not far from the centre of Leicester.
