It’s a really exciting time to join our HR & OD team right now. With a new Assistant Director in place, and a new structure to ensure we are best placed to support business needs, we’ve a number of exciting vacancies to fill which will help us support the Council’s ambitions and aspirations.
The Workforce and Organisational Development team is responsible for the development and implementation of the Councils approach to staff development, wellbeing, engagement and learning.
The team supports the wider HR function in the delivery of key activities including performance management, well-being strategy and the staff engagement.
About the Role
The role of the L&D Administrator covers a wide range of administrative duties, supporting the provision of a high quality and effective L&D operational and transactional service for the wider Council.
The post holder will deal with a variety of tasks, which will support Learning & Development, ranging from answering email queries, administration of the Learning Management System, supporting trainers with admin and general admin duties such as booking rooms, attendance lists and course marking.
The main emphasis for this role is the provision of high levels of customer services, ensuring new recruits, existing staff and HR colleagues can be confident that their requirements of the L&D Administrative team are met, both within specific timescales and also to exceptional quality standards.
The successful candidate will be educated to G.C.S.E level standard or equivalent. You will have experience of working in a team/admin role, providing a high level of customer service with accuracy and attention to detail. You will demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to prioritise your workload and produce accurate work within deadlines.
