About the role
Midday Supervisory Assistants (MDSAs) - Hailsham Community College Academy Trust
Hours: 6.25 hours per week – Term Time – Monday to Friday 12:00pm - 13:15pm
Salary: Single Status Grade 1 point 2 - £20,258 – actual starting salary: £2,938 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year initially
We are looking for friendly and confident individuals with good listening and communication skills to join our team. The role involves supervising children during the lunch break, both inside and outside, whilst they eat and play.
The successful candidates will understand the needs of primary age children. They will be able to assist and encourage children to eat healthily and with good manners and will be able to encourage positive play among children whilst also understanding the importance of a safe play environment. Previous experience working with children would be advantageous.
