Have you got what it takes to lead on communications and marketing for the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership, working with senior business, academic and political leaders to deliver a new economic vision and £1bn investment plan for the area?
We are looking for a talented, creative and highly motivated professional with extensive marketing and communications experience. You'll need to be an expert hands-on media and stakeholder manager with excellent liaison skills, as you'll be responsible for raising the profile of the Solent LEP with local media and business audiences, ensuring the LEP's important role in the Solent economy is understood. You'll need to have impressive strategic marketing experience as you'll be developing and overseeing campaigns designed to support the LEP's business objectives. You'll have the exceptional internal communications skills necessary to engage the LEP's diverse workforce and extensive partnership networks. You'll be adept at robustly managing a range of external suppliers and contracts, and meticulously organised with the ability to coordinate a wide range of communications and marketing activity delivered in-house and via external providers. You'll be flexible and adaptable: as comfortable building relationships with leaders of multi-national businesses as you are liaising with local politicians or engaging directly local businesses and workforce.
This post will be based at the Solent LEP offices, reporting to the LEPs Head of Policy, Communications and Partner Engagement but working closely with the Solent LEP Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.
