Job Title: Data Officer
Location: County Hall, Hertford
Salary Range: £19,819 - £21,693 pa
Hours: 37 per week
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join the Operations and Administration team, part of Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service (HAFLS), to undertake data collection, audit and reporting.
The post holder will be expected to develop in depth knowledge of HAFLS’ management information system and support partners and other HAFLS officers in its use. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that data is clean and reporting to HAFLS and partners/sub-contractors is done accurately and in a timely fashion as well as liaise with our Management Information (MI) system provider to implement developments needed for the service.
Very good Excel and maths skills are vital as is an ability to work to targets and manage your own workload. This can be seen in more detail in the relevant section of the job outline.
HAFLS is based at County Hall Hertford and is funded by the government and part of Hertfordshire County Council. It is responsible for delivering adult and family learning across Hertfordshire, engaging with around 6,000 learners each year. It has a direct delivery team, and subcontracts other delivery to well- established local learning partners. The service was last inspected by Ofsted in 2017 when it was judged as 'Good'.
