SENIOR MANAGER - INTEGRATED COMMUNITY SERVICES

New roles within the service are emerging and we now have an exciting new opportunity as Senior Manager – Integrated Community Services.  This new role is part of the new strategic management structure and will ensure robust leadership is in place.

A new opportunity:

You will provide effective strategic leadership, vision, and management direction to deliver high quality services which effectively promote independence, safeguard vulnerable adults, and ensure the effective discharge of statutory duties of a wide portfolio of complex adult social services including community and specialist services; Community, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, transition arrangements, support planning and safeguarding. 

Leading on the development and implementation of transformational plans to deliver operational integration with health colleagues and the wider economy, a good understanding of local government and health integration and the opportunities and challenges this presents is essential.

Deputising for the Director of Adult Social Care and Health on operational service matters relating to performance, service delivery and financial oversight, you will also provide appropriate assurance regarding the performance of operational services to both the Director of Adult Social Care and Health Executive Director of Place and wider council.

You will possess excellent persuasion, negotiation and influencing skills that will help bring about behavioural change and achieve desired results and outcomes.
