About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Hillingdon's aware-winning service AXIS as a Youth Crime Network Practitioner . If you have the ability to creatively capture information , and use professional curiosity to gain further understanding of risks posed to children at risk of exploitation or involvement in serious youth violence - we want to hear from you!

About you

The Youth Crime Network Practitioner will need to have a passion for children & young people and their safety in the community , alongside a keen interest in understanding the contextual safeguarding need within various localities. The role requires an understanding of the functions of key agencies, roles and responsibilities combined with a core knowledge of safeguarding and ability to process and support the interpretation of data to understand patterns/trends within communities. The Youth Crime Network Practitioner will also be required to work closely with AXIS Prevention Case Workers to ensure the bridge of information sharing/gathering is efficient . If appointed you will exhibit excellent partnership working, understand safeguarding legislation (The Children's Act 1989) and be able to confidentiality manage information.
