The vibrant and diverse Commercial Estates Department of London Borough of Waltham Forest are seeking to recruit an Assistant Rent Officer - Pay Scale: Sc6.
Principal responsibilities are to support the Commercial Rent Team Leader and Tenant Liaison Officer with the rent invoicing and collection processes for the Council’s commercial and Industrial portfolio.
The role will suit a customer focussed individual who can liaise with tenants and asset managers to ensure invoices, service charges, insurance invoices are sent in an accurate and timely manner, and make sure asset management and financial data are accurately captured.
You must be confident in dealing with a variety of customers and stakeholders through multiple communication channels, be highly organised and able to prioritise a constantly evolving workload, whilst continuing to deliver to tight deadlines. You must have experience and be confident in using multiple ICT systems such as Microsoft Packages including Excel, Concerto and SAP/Oracle. You would need to be adaptable and resilient to change, approach queries and challenges in a dynamic and solution focused way and be able to apply your skills to provide a range of support to the Commercial Rent Team.
