Income Maximisation Officer - Full Time
Financial Assessment Income Maximisation Officers (1 year Fixed Term – SO1)
One Income Maximisation Officer posts have been created for a 1 year fixed term to increase the maximisation of disability benefits for adult social care service users.
This post will work with social care service users of all ages with disabilities, dementia, mental health issues, sensory impairments, older people and their families and other customers both in Council offices and during home visits to help maximise income, providing welfare benefit advice and signposting customers to appropriate budgeting and debt advice. The successful applicant will need good customer service skills, a working knowledge of welfare benefits and experience of working in a welfare benefit or similar financial assessment environment.
1 full time post can be covered by a full time worker or 2 part time workers
