About the role
This role sits within the newly established transformation programme team, brought together to implement a new Family Hub model of early help for children and families.
As the Business Analyst on this programme, you will work with the programme manager and project managers, wider programme team and internal and external partners to surface the detail to enable senior managers to make informed decisions for the Family Hubs transformation. You will be a self-starter with the ability to show initiative and work without close supervision on multiple projects.
You will use a broad range of skills to understand the business changes needed. A structured and methodical approach is essential, as is the ability to apply different techniques to elicit business requirements and be able to document and communicate these.
Responsible for articulating problems and solutions in ways understood by all stakeholders, you will have excellent collaboration skills to bring the right people together to achieve clear outcomes. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident engaging with diverse groups such as council employees (including technical IT&D staff), elected members, service delivery partners & families. Due to the nature of the role, you must possess proven experience of workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, process and customer journey mapping, solution and benefit identification.
We are trialing hybrid working where some staff have the option to work remotely for some of their time. Please note that the successful applicant will be expected to attend the Brighton & Hove offices as and when needed at the discretion of the service and needs of the role.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
