The Regeneration Team is at the heart of revitalising the borough’s neighbourhoods by working alongside the communities, businesses, developers and investors to create places for people to live, work and enjoy. The Team has an exciting and challenging responsibility for place shaping programmes, which include Meridian Water, one of London’s largest regeneration opportunities - Meridian Water will deliver transformational change, creating approximately 10,000 new homes and 3,000 jobs. In addition to projects in Ponders End, Edmonton, and New Southgate. LBE is taking control of the delivery of Meridian Water and will be custodian of the place Meridian Water will become.
The Regeneration Service is now looking to fill vacancies created by the need to accelerate ‘delivery’ We will be bringing forward 6 sites over the next 12 months 2 residential, 4 Employment. In addition to HIF roads and rail, a new masterplan and a new train station and track due to complete in 2019. We have an opportunity for an Enabling and Construction Manager to lead and drive important work streams.

The team operates in a dynamic fast paced environment and we are looking for bright and energetic people with new ideas from either a regeneration, property, project management or planning with over 5years experience. requires
These roles involve managing projects, budgets, stakeholders, staff and representing the Council’s aspirations for Enfield. What separates Enfield from other Local Authorities is our proactive approach in regeneration, our ability to deliver on the ground and our high standards.
Candidates should be equally comfortable managing developers/contractors as they are working with council colleagues, politicians and residents or businesses. In addition, candidates, must demonstrate successful regeneration delivery, excellent report writing skills and have a thorough understanding of local government processes.
