Do you thrive on new challenges?
Do you enjoy working in a fast paced, ever changing environment where you are relied upon and valued?
An exceptionally confident, motivated team player is needed to join our Corporate Management Support Team as a Support Officer (effectively a skilled PA).
This challenging post will suit a highly organised administrator, proficient in working accurately and quickly, with minimal supervision.
As an enthusiastic, professional, and friendly administrator, you’ll be working in a positively challenging environment, jumping in at the deep end, to support a fast paced, vital service.
Confidence is essential as ultimately it will be your job to ensure that the Assistant Director has the tools and information available to manage their role. You’ll be expected to confidently take on live responsibilities from day one, embracing training and development in and amongst a demanding workload.
As a highly effective communicator you’ll understand the importance of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy and will liaise at all levels internally and with external partners. We will rely on you for accuracy and efficiency as you deliver reliable meeting notes and action logs, streamlining calendars with foresight, anticipating the constant changes within our service.
Our workload is dynamic and constantly evolving, so you’ll need to juggle multiple tasks with a ‘can do’ proactive attitude, acting on initiative and anticipating need in areas including;
- diary management
- meeting / event coordination
- recording of senior management meetings (minute taking)
Plus, you’ll need to demonstrate understanding of corporate protocols and practice in respect of agenda preparation.
Your inter-personal and IT skills will contribute to process development and communication within your team, and you'll support the wider Corporate Management Support Team.
In this exceptional role, you’ll work alongside a close-knit team of professionals supporting each other and, when needed, provide cover for colleagues as part of our friendly and supportive working environment.
