Your role in our journey
As Systems and Data Officer for the Contract, Compliance and Funding Service you will ensure that our externally funded programmes demonstrate impact against expected outcomes and meet performance standards. You will effectively and efficiently through a range of management information systems, tools, and products, ensure the Service’s Education and Skills Funding and European Social Fund employability contracts remain compliant, are fully maximised, and make statutory returns and funding claims to all relevant Government departments and internal governance meetings. Therefore, an eye for detail and quality, and advanced knowledge and experience of operating within this context is required.
The ideal candidate will be good at building and maintaining partnerships, understand the importance of delivering employment and skills programmes to improve local outcomes, and have an advanced understanding of the benefits of information systems and developments that have the potential to support best practice service delivery. This will include curriculum planning, sufficiency, and enrolment. You will be able to drive improvement at pace and strive for high quality data provision. Specific knowledge of the Tribal information system would be an advantage though not essential. You will have a significant understanding of local and national strategies, policies, and legislation accompanied by direct experience of working within an adult and skills context. You will recognise and actively seek to promote and demonstrate the Councils’ and Service’s core values, working collaboratively across the Service.
What you’ll need
To join us, you’ll need a professional level 5 qualification, a professional project management and leadership qualification is desirable. A willingness to undertake further training will be required and supported.
